Festivity of Vigan

         Starting this new bright year with a touch of a joyful and colorful celebration of Vigan.As the City of Vigan celebrates the Longganisa Festival and its own City Fiesta. Bigueños also celebrates the feast day of the cconversion of St. Paul the Apostle as Vigan City's patron saint. The bravery, hardship and even the danger that Saul endured to spread the words of God from far places and his name was then changed to Paul.

         The festivity is celebrated by Bigueños and even visitors from different places. Enjoying the different cultural shows, parades and street dances prepared by the locan government with the help of the local communities and industries. Food fairs, arts and crafts exhibits, as well as the Carnaval is also prepared and presented for this grand celebration.

         The continuous celebration of this festivity can promote the local industries of the city. The native culture and traditions can also be raised in this particular celebration.
